Here is a few pics of a experimental metal table created from scrap crankshafts, cogs, gears and metal offcuts.

This contemporary metal table is created from scrap roll cages and French boules. The painted top, which I treated as I would a painting, was created from grinding into the metal and applying successive layers of car spray paint, to preserve this finish I have used a clear metal sealer and lacquer.
