Combe Martin, Calm Before The Storm

New seascape of Combe Martin, Devon capturing the scene as a storm rolled in.

Based on sketches and studies made during a camping trip, I painted this using spreaders, an old nail and a palette knife. Using cold wax medium allowed me to build up and then scrape back to reveal previous layers.
